June has finally rolled around, and with it the event that everyone here in the voidspace has been waiting for: voidspace live 2024.
In association with Theatre Deli, we will be bringing together interactive theatre, games, poetry, dance and much, much more, for one day only, on 9 June 2024.
To celebrate, we are bringing together interviews with creators who will be giving performances and exhibiting work. Read on to get a tiny taste of what to expect.

This month we are proud to present new interviews with performers and exhibitors who will be sharing their work at voidspace live. Read on for interviews with:
Luca Silvestrini of Protein Dance, whose site specific dance film, Stairworks will be shown in the festival cafe;
Seth Kriebel and Zoe Bouras, who will be presenting live text-adventure-style exploration storytelling show The Unbuilt Room; and
Silvia Mercurali, who will be exhibiting her auto-theatre audio piece Eye.

FOUR by Ain Bailey - an immersive installation and audio work by Ain Bailey that explores how sound can be used as a collective experience to form personal connections. The work has been produced in collaboration with imprisoned men and their families at HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale. Ain hosted workshops with the participants, during which they listened to music and sounds that were significant to them, sharing their connected memories. The new audio work includes some of the sounds and rhythms recorded by the participants, and is presented in the gallery which Ain has redesigned in response to the time she spent in the visitor centre at HMP Buckley Hall.
